Braves Sweep Mets Doubleheader

Atlanta was loving the fact that Tom Glavine was back in a Braves uniform. With that said, the New York Mets hated that very fact as he was virtually unbreakable. The 42 year old made a believer out of the Mets batters as he would bend a lot but would not break as he gave up 1 run on just 3 hits and that being a solo home run in the first inning to Luis Castillo. Mark Teixeira had a field day with the Mets in game one as he went 3 for 3.

In the night cap, Jorge Campillo had just his his second career start and looked like he had been doing this forever. Going 6 innings, Jorge gave up no walks while giving up just 3 hits and striking out 7. He made some hitters look foolish. Yunel Escobar and Chipper Jones led the Braves hit attack with 2 each as the Braves bats pounded out 9 hits and scored 6 runs against the Braves pitching.
