A community portal about Atomic nucleus with blogs, videos, and photos. According to Wikipedia.org: The nucleus of an atom is the very dense region in its centre consisting of protons and neutrons. The size of the nucleus is in the range 1.5 to 15 fm, much smaller than the size of the atom itself, and almost all of the mass in an atom is made up from the protons and neutrons with almost no contribution from the electrons.
