Go to autismspeaks.org or www.autism-society.org for all the info. A new link was just discovered between a gene and autism pointing to a genetic cause but it is still unknown if inoculations aggravate the disorder.
Inoculating you child is one tough decision right now.

nobody really has any concrete proof about the innoculations. Nobody really knows what exactly causes autism, but they are leaning towards a genetic cause.

There is NO evidence that it is caused by innoculations/vaccinations at all.
Let’s face it: if it was, it would be more epidemic than the flu, and it’s not. In fact in some countries innoculation rates are low or falling while autism cases are rising (as are diseases which can be prevented by innoculations). The rise in autism cases is widely thought to be caused by changes in how it is diagnosed.
One study, by Dr Andrew Wakefield, linked it to innoculations (the MMR vaccine), but he studied only 12 children, and it was later revealed that some of the parents of these kids were already initiating legal action over the vaccine and that he was being paid for the study by their solicitors. Then later, it was discovered that his lab results were flawed too, the whole study fell apart, and he now faces professional misconduct charges.
A lot of studies have been done on the “autism link”. A huge comparison of 440,000 vaccinated danish children and 96,000 unvaccinated danish children found no link whatsoever. A recent English study of 5,500 children also found no link. A study in Finland followed 600,000 children for 20 years, and also found no link with autism. There are heaps of others too.
The exact cause is still unknown and there are plenty of theories, but recent research has shown that:
1. there are certain genes which appear to predispose people to autism, and significant other genetic factors (eg, it can be “inherited”)
2. there are other factors such as low birthweight and hypoxia during childbirth.

In today’s society it’s normal for couples in their 30s or early 40s to start their families, whereas a generation ago it would’ve been in their 20s and 30s.
Autism is caused by genetic mutations in the sperm of older fathers, and not vaccinations.

Most of the recent autism epidemic is caused by childhood vaccinations including the hep b, mmr and flu shot. Vaccines cause or aggravate a host of other acute diseases as well.
This is well documented in the scientific literature in spite of what I’ve read from some other posters here.
Thousands of doctors, scientist and parents know this as well.
Doctors fear for their careers if they speak out as they have seen well respected peers ruthlessly attacked and their research deliberately misrepresented when they point out anything that suggests vaccine are not what they are portrayed to be. Even so more doctors and scientists are speaking out as more and more children are vaccine injured.
Giant pharmaceutical companies routinely produce and release fake studies showing how safe vaccines are and the morons in the press just regurgitate whatever their told, no fact checking at all, they don’t even read the damn things.
Don’t expect to be protected by the us government, half the staff at the CDC gets money for grants or is currently on the payroll of the vaccine producers.
It is a sickening tale of greed and incompetence.
It is a national disgrace.

There are many conflicting studies saying either there is or is no connection between autism & the MMR (more specifically, the thimerisol-mercury deriviative) vaccine.
I am of the opinion that there is a genetic predispostion to it & a number of environmental triggers necessary to activate the autism.
My son, now 15, was showing signs before his first MMR vaccine, but he did get worse after. My other son, had the same very mild symptoms from birth, got the same MMR vaccine & did not get worse.
I’d also caution you that the MMR’s that were first brought under suspicion contained Thimerisol, a mercury derivative that has now been phased out almost entirely from our vaccines.

Most parents can directly relate the regression to a childhood set of immunizations. There are many contributing factors though, and I’ve never heard of a genetic epidemic – have you? So, I don’t believe it is genetic. Some scientists and researchers have also pinpointed the onset of autism illness in the world to a specific time and location (epicenter). It has spread from there.

It is a very controversial subject that could affect the profits of pharmaceutical companies, so a lot of the real information is veiled in agendas.
Autism and many other of the 20th century mystery diseases are being reversed by treating for mercury poisoning – which arises from amalgam fillings, mercury laced vaccinations, mercury release from coal fired generation, and even the wonderful fluorescent tubes (and new compact fluorescents) in our homes -they contain mercury and give off unsafe levels when broken.
