Autistic Savant Artist Desires & Abilities Sprang Forth When I Saw THIS – age 6 / 1964. At a time when most children with Autism were being institutionalized, I went to the Nation’s Capitol where I hand-flapped on the US Capitol steps and saw civil rights being born – 1964. Ms. Day-Petrano (pen-name EquiisSavant), was informed by her late Mother she was diagnosed with Childhood Kanner autism as the reason why she was adjudicated at age 14 for her developmental disability entitlement under NY law to adult child support. Subsequently, Ms. Day-Petrano was diagnosed with Autism and Savant Syndromes by Michael W. Hoffmann, MD
