Rohrl & Blomqvist Audi Sport quattro Monte Carlo Rally 1985 ES1 – Video Clips

Rare video footage of Walter Röhrl and Stig Blomqvist, in their Audi Sport quattros, on the opening test of the 1985 Rallye Monte Carlo, Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid at Dunieres, which was shown live on French national television (TF1).

Blomqvist recorded second fastest time over the two mile test, while team-mate and four-time Monte winner Röhrl was third quickest.

Incidentally, event winner that year Ari Vatanen, driving the Peugeot 205 T16, set the best time on the stage.
