It’s not that there was much wrong with the 2010 Kia Forte ’s predecessor. In fact, the last time we drove a Kia Spectra, we walked away wondering if anything more might be overkill. The Spectra was good but tended to blend in with a crowd, and Kia’s not into playing the role of wallflower anymore. The all-new 2010 Kia Forte Koup’s motto ? ‘One Hot Ride’ ? took on a new meaning today as Kia Motors America (KMA) unveiled its U.S. motorsports program at the 2009 SEMA Show. South Korea's second-largest carmaker Kia Motors Friday announced a record quarterly net profit due to international incentives for new car buyers and a weaker won. Kia said in a statement it posted a net profit of 402 billion won (339 million dollars) in July-September, swinging from a net loss of 22.1 billion a year earlier. Operating profit soared to 313.5 billion won from 53.7 billion, while sales rose 32 percent to 4.509 trillion won from 3.427 trillion a year earlier.
