I have a real hard time with this. I mean, that semi has to weigh 10K lbs even empty (guess 4-5K for the tractor, 4-5K for the trailer.) even if they have that rope attached to a hard-point (it looks like there might be a tow-bar on the lower cowl) There must be essentially zero-resistance for the semi to move forward. Subaru Hybrid Tourer Concept on display at the Tokyo Auto Show, which opens to the public on Oct. 24. In May, Subaru announced its intentions to produce the first Subaru hybrid gas-electric vehicle by 2012. Speaking from the Tokyo Motor Show yesterday, Ikuo Mori, president of Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., maker of Subaru cars, reiterated the company’s hybrid plans, saying that a hybrid would help Subaru meet tougher US fuel economy rules.
