My GE Water heater won’t stay on if it is turned up too high?
If I keep it down to warm it stays lit, but the water isn’t very hot. When I turn it up to make the water hot it will reach temperature, then shut off the pilot light and all gas, and pilot light won’t turn back on. GE Won’t help me. Any suggestions.

I assume you have a gas water heater. I think you need a tune up kit available at most hardware stores.
