U.S. Travel Association Commends House Passage of FAA Bill » Tourism News
The U.S. Travel Association counseled the House of Representatives for passing the conference report on the long-term Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reauthorization that improves the nation’s aviation infrastructure, modernizes our air traffic management system, and reforms FAA programs.

“If we are able to move travelers from town to town faster and forestall them from waiting in airport lobbies or on tarmacs, it'll boost our economy and that they are going to be inspired to require a lot of journeys as a result,” said Roger Dow, president and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association. “Other countries are outpacing the us and building way more subtle air travel systems. This bill can facilitate America to compete by modernizing and building the foremost sturdy air travel system within the world, and that we urge the Senate to pass the conference report immediately.”

U.S. Travel estimates that a decrease in delays and cancellations may add $17 billion greenbacks in travel spending into the economy and support a hundred and fifty five,000 jobs within the travel business.
