Avril Lavigne (born September 27, 1984) is a Canadian singer-songwriter. She has released multiple albums including "The Best Damn Thing" which sold over 16 million copies worldwide. She also designs clothing and has appeared in films such as "The Flock", and "Fast Food Nation." Avril was married to Deryck Whibley, the lead singer of rock band Sum 41, until their 2009 divorce.
Earlier, I wrote a piece about Avril Lavigne enlisting the help of Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash on her upcoming album. Apparently, Mr. Hudson is not amused.
Slash took to his official Twitter to dispel the rumors, by simply saying that it’s not happening.
