Interesting news are out and it has been revealed that Standard Liege have informed AC Milan they must up their bid for Axel Witsel.

The 22 year old versatile midfielder is a top target for the newly crowned Serie A champs.

Standard Liege President Luciano D’Onofrio said : “I will admit there has been contact between our club and Milan for the player, but there is still a big gap between Milan’s offer and our demands,”.

Witsel is also being linked with Liverpool.
