A real screenshot from the New York Times today, cropped as I saw fit. Either a) the Guantanamo detainees are HUGE Guns 'n Roses fans, or b) the detainees are actually part of Axl Rose's band. I hate it when someone beats me to the punch. Our mission as bloggers is to be sued by Axl Rose, but our counterpart Kevin Cogill, from Antiquiet.com, has succeeded where we have failed. Today Cogill struck a deal with prosecutors to plead guilty to one count of copyright infringement for leaking nine songs from Chinese Democracy on Antiquiet.com. Over ten years in the making, Guns n Roses is finally releasing their new album, Chinese Democracy. They have released their new single, There Was Time, on You Tube to mixed reviews.
