Aztec
Aztec (Aztecatl) is the Nahuatl word for "people from Aztlan, " a mythical place for the culture of the Nahuatl language of the time, and later adopted as a word to describe the Mexica people. Often, the term "Aztec" refers exclusively to the Mexica people of Tenochtitlan "now the site of Mexico City", located on an island in Lake Texcoco, who saw themselves as Mexica or Tenochca Colhua-Mexica.

Aztec Tribe

The Tribe Aztecs incorporate some traditions are mixed with their own traditions. Therefore, they have several creation myths, one of them describing the time before the world for four years now, which ended in disaster. The fifth era is preserved because of the sacrifice of heroes in the sun. This tale is associated with the old city of Teotihuacan, which was destroyed when the Aztec arrived. Other myths describe the world as the creation of twin gods, Tezcatlipoca and Quetzalcoatl. Tezcatlipoca lost his foot in the process of creating the world and all these images represent the god Tezcatlipoca, without revealing legs and bones. Quetzalcoatl was also known as the White Tezcatlipoca.
Aztec Culture

Aztec is one of several cultures, generally referred to as "Nahua" follow their own language. When the Aztecs in the Valley of Anahuac, Nahua they regarded by others as less civilized, they decide to learn, and to other families, they learned a lot from an old Toltec (which is often confused with the ancient culture of Teotihuacan.
