Aztec
(Aztecatl) is
the
Nahuatl
word
for
"people
from
Aztlan, "
a
mythical place
for the culture
of
the Nahuatl language
of
the time,
and
later
adopted
as a
word to describe
the
Mexica
people.
Often, the
term
"Aztec"
refers
exclusively
to the
Mexica
people
of
Tenochtitlan
"now
the site
of
Mexico City",
located
on
an
island in
Lake
Texcoco,
who
saw themselves
as
Mexica
or
Tenochca
Colhua-Mexica.
Aztec Tribe
The Tribe Aztecs
incorporate
some
traditions
are mixed
with
their
own traditions.
Therefore,
they
have
several
creation myths,
one
of
them
describing
the
time
before
the world
for four years
now,

ended
in disaster.

fifth

represent
the
god
Tezcatlipoca,

revealing
legs
and
bones.
Quetzalcoatl
was
also
known as
the
White
