Ladies And Gentlemen Let Me Introduce To You...STEFANO!!!
So as you know he's touring in Italy at the moment and he's so very busy but I was keep bugging him to write a little bit for the blog...and he was able to find some time to do it...and I will be able able to make not one but TWO posts out of it hehehe...so here's the first one where he talks about himself...
I just want to point out that he wrote it in Italian and I tried to translate it...so have mercy on me...'cos it was hard to do it hehehe he used big words...hehehe I just hope it make a little bit of sense...
And now me...who I am...
I was born in the Torino area the 3rd of June 1972.
There I studied Acting and also Communication Sciences.
At 22 I left Torino and I started to "research" myself and my profession, and I did it changing all the time job, city and form of expression, especially thinking about my personal experiences...a series of relationships in social contests that were always different and often they were the opposite, but in which I put myself completely.
Every time I changed a city I also changed the people I used to hang out with, I changed my activities and my jobs, with the idea that only a complete fresh start was going to be a real starting point in a true regeneration.
And so I find myself in the creative Torino, in the Milano of fashion, marketing and night clubs, in the old and lonely Marchigiana Cost, in the Firenze of architecture and Renaissance and right now in the Roma of theaters and her experimentation.
All those moves are always been spaced by my frequent trips to my beloved London full of contemporary art galleries, musicals and night life in the worst clubs of Soho and Brixton.
And also New York, the Andalusia and Cuba, the real one, the one of the Cubans, where I lived for a few months and that left a mark on me as well.
Theater as always been the red ribbon that is tiding my life together.
I looked for it, I experimented every time I could do it, everywhere I could do it...it wasn't always easy but it was always done with love.
Everything in my life always pushed me toward becoming a director...toward the global vision of a performance.
Not only I research and I always go deep and I want to learn and put my input on the show, the script, the work with the actors, but also on the costumes, on the set, on the lights...
I research an image as a narrative unite, intense and unique.
And this love for the image, also gave me an hobby...photography.
At the moment I have done a couple of exhibitions, but I have so many thoughts, ideas that I try to let them come through with my pictures.
So there you have it. This is me...more or less this is it.
