BAAAHHH HAS A HOME!!!
We are very proud and deeply happy to announce that "Baaahhh!!!" has finally found a home!!!
Yesterday I went to book our theater here in New York.
We'll be performing at the Payan Theater in the heart of the Theater District of the Big Apple.
We'll be there from the 3rd of September until the 22nd of September.
It's a charming 55 seats theater, the staff there is absolutely fantastic, so nice and sweet they really made this moment even better!!!
I felt so many things when I was there getting ready to sign that contract, so many memories, so many thoughts in my head.
I was happy, I was proud of myself, of Stefano...less than 7 months ago this dream started to become a reality and now here we are driving this car that we love, trying to really take very good care of it, making it more beautiful every day.
I was there at that table with the pen in my hand and I started to think about me and Stefano talking until morning about this play he read years ago and that he decided to put in a draw until then, I remembered myself when I was 4 or 5 "performing" for my whole family, I remembered the day I left everything I knew and have in Italy and I got on a plane to come to New York, I remembered my Mother always in the first of at my performances, I remembered my Father kissing me on a cheek one night I came back to visit form the States, I remembered me and Stefano talking for hours at the computer about this play how to do it, where to start, I remembered my best friend and myself working until dawn in the summer at different touristic villages (like Club Med) dreaming of something else, another place to be, and laughing laughing until you stomach hurts, I remembered the flowers I used to get every time I was performing in Italy in my dressing room before the show, they were from my Mother, I remembered all the nights spent talking about dreams...I remembered waking up and realize I was living a dream, I remembered going to Italy to surprise my best friend who was the lead in Rent over there for the night of the premiere, I remembered his face when he saw me, I remembered my Mom's face after a reading I did in my town, how proud she was, I remembered my father's voice full of joy when I called him from NY telling him I was going to host a TV show for an Italian station...yesterday all those thoughts were running freely in mi mind...yesterday I wished I could have called my parents and tell them what we did...I know they would have been so proud of me...I miss them daily, they made me the person I am today and for that I would never be able to thank them enough...they'll always have a first row seat at my performances...I know they see me from up there...yesterday I just wished I could have still at least hear their voices...
But here we are also thanks to all of you who are supporting us and our dream daily...
We have a house, we have to decorate it now...and of course pay the rent hehehe, but we'll make it...we gonna be fine...it's our time...let's go!!!
