Try the DVD Potty power & try a wetting doll to show her how the doll pee-pees in the potty, then give the doll all the prais & songs you would for your daughter. She shoul learn quickly.
Do you need the doll? Maybe not. But I would err on the side of over prepared instead of under. If your cutie likes Elmo then try a potty Elmo. My son loves the cause & effect of the toy & gets a kick out of Elmo using his own potty.

any accidents urine or fecal are going to seem like too long for a potty trainning time. have patience and remember addicents will happen. there are now cool touch pull ups i hear are good. some parents pretend a famous cartoon character is calling the child after they go potty. they can even have a small pee pee in the potty impromtu party where they get a sticker and a small one time prize. i love pullups with the velcro sides they are better than diapers and sticky pulls that don’t rip off well for a poopie diaper.
potty training dolls i’ve never tried. they say they help but if something sounds too good to be true it probably is.
my ideas are lots of praise during sucesses and dont get frustrated at the child during accidents. stickers are a cheap reward let them pick a type of sticker or use a them of stickers like trucks or princesses that they like.
about the pretend phone call. you can have a friend call up and ask for little johnny and tell him its nemo or dash from the incredibles or so on. I saw that on one of those suppy nanny shows

Tried it, didn’t work. What worked for us was a) having a schedule so that I put her on the toilet 1 hour after eating and 30 minutes after drinking, plus before naps and before we went out and other such important times; b) praise when she went to the toilet, when she peed, when she pooed, when she told me she had to go, etc…. TONS of praise; c) treats. OK, bribery isn’t great, but it really helped for me to give my daughter a cookie when she went potty (and my 2 year old gets a little candy). It worked!
I also did silly things – every tinkle I do a happy pee dance which amuses my 2 year old to no end. I let him wipe, close the lid, and flush, which makes him feel like a big boy. I reinforce that he’s such a big boy, just like my husband. I also laugh hysterically when he toots – it amuses him 
I am NEVER negative when we’re in the bathroom, it ruins the whole thing. I had him trained in 2 days, it took my daughter around 2 weeks but she was only 18 months (and no, I wasn’t a lunatic pressuring her… she had thrush and couldn’t wear diapers because of the discomfort).
