First think: Lovely Baby Shower Diaper Cake, now let's have some fun:o)
Any cake makes for an amazing centerpiece at a party and a baby shower is no exception…a special cake builds the emotion of anticipation and setting a tone for the festivities.
Think-Fun.
But baby shower cakes are even better, mostly because I just love ‘em (showers:) LOL, and because you meet the most wonderful people at baby showers.
Folks are having fun and laughing, playing baby shower games…

Well, ‘cause diapers are the major ingredient. Sounds pretty strange, -especially if you’ve never heard of a diaper cake, before.
AND diaper cakes are so easy to create, and fun, too. A diaper cake is more like a gift basket for the mom-to-be and doubles as a centerpiece for the baby shower, as well. (OR if you’d rather get a diaper cake already make-up; plan on spending something just under $100.00)
But you can make your very own diaper cake for much less with good ol’ fashion American know-how And I’m gonna share.
*****What you’ll be needing for your amazing baby shower diaper cake.*****
Your Ingredients:
Disposable diapers around 50.
A base: get yourself a platter of metal, cardboard, or what ever but stiff.14" to 16".
Get a 10 foot length of 1" wide ribbon. AND pick-up 60 or more feet of narrower ribbon. (for tying-up diapers into rolls)
Your diaper cake is unique and also demands a center of attention, get creative here and have fun but if you get stuck you can use a baby bottle.
Pick-up lots of little cute, useful items for babies. Such as pacifiers, teething rings, bibs, socks, baby hair brushes, small sized soap and shampoo and so on.
Get cellophane for a wrapping, this add a nice professional touch. Add ribbons for bows, I would for sure.
Always keep your tape near by and other favorite craft supplies.
