Baby Shower Bingo

If you're hosting a baby shower and you're looking for a great game and a great ice-breaker, baby shower bingo is just the ticket.

Most people have played bingo at one time in their lives, so they'll feel comfortable playing the game, and it will be a breeze to explain it to any first-timers.

I use a variation of bingo at all the showers I host, and it is always a hit, whether I've hosted eight people or 100.

The perfect way to break the ice at a shower and get all the guests interacting with each other in a fun way is to play my favorite version of the game, called "guest bingo".

You may need the mother-to-be's help on this one, as you'll fill out the game cards with a unique trivia tidbit about each guest, such as "got married in Vegas", or "has 11 brothers and sisters", or "most embarrassing moment was...".

The guests have to talk to each other to find the matching person for each square, and the first one to get five in a row on the card wins. There is usually a good amount of laughter during this game, so be prepared to enjoy it!

I used to make my own bingo cards by hand, but I found it really time-consuming, and it just took too much time away from the rest of my baby shower planning.

So I did a lot (and I mean a LOT) of research online to find pre-printed or printable games, and after I waded through most of the crappy sites, I found a site where I could print out a huge variety of baby shower games for very reasonable prices, including my beloved baby shower bingo .
