Sharon Osbourne is learning quickly that you can't physically assault one of your reality show contestants and get away with it. Rock of Love: Charm School reject Megan Hauserman filed suit in Los Angeles court Monday, claiming assault and battery, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress by Osbourne.
The suit stems from an incident at the reality show's reunion, which aired on VH1 in December. Hauserman, who was visibly intoxicated, rambled on throughout the show and insulted a number of former contestants
The 26-year-old then went on to say Osbourne was only famous for managing her husband Ozzy's career, who she referred to as, "A brain-dead rocker." Osbourne then stood up, threw her drink at Hauserman and lunged at her. The camera quickly turned away from the fight. When it turned back, the two women were being pulled apart.
A disheveled Hauserman was carried backstage and Osbourne announced to the audience, "You can f--k with me, I don't give a shit, but not my family."
According to the Associated Press, Hauserman's suit claims Osbourne hit her, pulled her hair and scratched her. Her attorney, Warren J. Binder, told the AP, "It's pretty hard to deny what happened on the video."
