The bag was nice but it turned out too big. I thought it was a bit smaller, I wanted it for my school books, but instead I left it for weekend travel because it has space even for my laptop. I recommend it if you need to carry a lot of things or for travel.

My son is in the 5th grade and has a fairly large binder he brings home every day. This binder plus other books or notebooks fit much better in this bag than a back pack and he seems to like it better as well. It seems to be strong enough yet comfortable for him to wear over his shoulder.

I purchased this bag in lavender for my 6th grader. It seems to be holding up well and she say it's comfortable even when filled to the brim with textbooks. Great bag!

I was disappointed when I got this bag at first, primarily because it was huge! And it seemed like it wouldn't hold its shape.
After getting discouraged by Amazon's return policy, I decided to use it anyway. And I am so glad I did.
I have been using it to carry my gym clothes, office documents, lunch box, and am really happy with its performance and quality and guess what - it does hold its shape.

Would have loved to see more compartments (-1 star for this), but it isn't so bad the way it is right now.
