There's growing interest in whether Baclofen, long used as a muscle relaxant and for treating those with multiple sclerosis, could also be used to break people's addiction to alcohol. French physician and cardiologist Dr. Olivier Ameisen writes about how he used Baclofen in The End of My Addiction. Ameisen, who had battled with alcohol addiction for years, including serious black outs, finally was able to break his alcohol addiction by using doses of Baclofen.
