Bai Ling Almost Lost a Nipple to Cheetah Cat

It should surprise no one that Bai Ling is an animal lover: the Chinese actress frequently rhapsodizes about people being animals and such on her blog. But this week, PeoplePets reports that Bai is also a devoted pet owner, with a year-old cheetah/domestic cat mix named Quiji in residence at her Los Angeles apartment.

Ling, who believes she was "a cheetah or leopard or some sort of really wild and dangerous animal" in a past life, says Quiji was a gift from an ex-boyfriend.

Quiji eats nothing but freshly cooked chicken, and is remarkably affectionate. So affectionate that Bai let her sleep in her bed with her one night, which very nearly turned to disaster: "I sleep naked...she was kissing me, and suddenly, she woke up. She saw my nipple, and ohh my God, she went for it! If I wasn't fast, my nipple is gone. She thought it was a toy or something."

Still, Bai insists Quiji is one of the world's gentlest creatures, calling her "the most beautiful, affectionate creature I've ever encountered in my life."
