Billabong Pro Junior Series Bali: Final videos
Billabong Pro Junior Series Video In Bali
As reported by iol.co.za Bali - South Africa’s Dale Staples was one of the standouts at the Billabong Pro Junior Bali, a Grade 5, ASP Australasia Pro Junior surfing event with prize-money of Aus $30 000 that was held in outstanding waves.
Staples, 18, from St Francis Bay, showed superb form in surf that ranged between one and three metres at Keramas Rivermouth in Bali, threading his way through numerous tube-rides to grab equal third spot behind winner Dean Bowen and fellow Aussie Teale Vanner.
Staples and Beyrick de Vries (Umhlanga) were the only two of the six SA surfers to advance to the last 32 in the 96-man event, attended by most of Australia’s top 20-and-under Pro Junior competitors.
