Police in Prince George's County are investigating a fatal accident that has closed a portion of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway just north of 193.

The Baltimore-Washington Parkway between the Capitol Beltway and Powder Mill Road has been re-opened after a fatal accident Sunday morning. The accident happened at around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection with Greenbelt Road (also known as Maryland Route 193).
