
Barack Obama was born in Honolulu , Hawaii on August 4, 1961, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. and Ann Dunham.

His father Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. a black MUSLIM was born and raised in a small village in (Nyangoma-Kogel) Kenya, where he grew up herding goats with his own father, who was a domestic servant to the British. Mother Ann Dunham, a white ATHEIST from Wichita , Kansas. Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii, where his father was enrolled as a foreign student.
When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya.

Obama's Step-Father and Mother
When Obama was 6 years old, his mother married an Indonesian man Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta . He also spent two years in a Catholic school. He then moved back to Hawaii to live with his grandparents and attend school.

He later moved to New York, where he graduated from Columbia University in 1983. Barack earned his law degree from Harvard, where he became the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review. He then returned to Chicago to practice as a civil rights lawyer and teach constitutional law.

Michelle ObamaHe is married to a lawyer, Michelle. Barack's wedding ceremony was performed in October 18, 1992 at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois.

Michelle Obama was born Michelle LaVaughn Robinson on January 17, 1964, to Frasier and Marian Robinson. She was born and raised in Chicago's South Side and went on to attend Princeton University and Harvard Law School. She met Barack Obama when they were the only two African Americans at their law firm.


Barack and Michelle have two daughters.

• Sasha Obama: Born in 2001.
