The acestry site once reported that Senator Barack Obama was related to actor Brad Pitt. Allegedly they are ninth cousins. Barack is also related to president George W. Bush (11th cousins), Dick Cheney (9th cousins) and even more distantly related to former Presidents Gerald Ford, Lyndon B. Johnson, Harry S. Truman, and James Madison.
NotableKin.org went on to conclude that President Barack Obama is distantly related to Winston Churchill. The site claims that Winston and Barack are 9th cousins, three times removed.
We're not so sure... but it's fun to think about.
