Members of the nation's oldest black sorority are alleging more financial misdeeds by their president, who is already accused of spending hundreds of thousands of dollars of the group's money on questionable expenses, including a wax statue of herself. Eight members of Alpha Kappa Alpha filed a lawsuit in D.C. Superior Court in June seeking to remove international president Barbara McKinzie. (Getty Images) McKinzie and her wax statue (London Telegraph) Barbara McKinzie , the president of Alpha Kappa Alpha, the oldest black sorority in America, is being sued over the misappropriationg of hundreds of thousands of the sorority's dollars. Members of the sorority say McKinzie commissioned a $900,000 wax statue of herself to be displayed at the National Great Blacks in Wax Museum alongside such wax figures as President Obama .
