Catalan’s modernism figure, Antoni Gaudí is one of the most representative of architects of the Spanish architecture. The personal character of his designs is very similar to the character of Barcelona, a city, which is essential for any traveler passing through Spain.

The windows, interiors and entrances, are irregular in its composition and character, showing Gaudi’s rejection by straight lines.
Casa Mila, also known as “La Pedrera”, this building was built between 1905 and 1910, and was not completed until 1912. Also located on Passeig de Gracia Avenue, in the busy district of Eixample. This house was designed with the spiritual connotations of the time, as it has recurrent Catholic images inside, like the Virgin Mary and two archangels, including recurrent and sensual shapes, make this space a unique travel space.
La Sagrada Familia, Gaudí’s masterpiece. Pope Benedict XVI, recently proclaimed the church of the Sagrada Familia, a minor basilica. The construction of the church began around 1882, but it was not until the following year, in which Gaudí made present his participation that the project got its personal character. Thus, La Sagrada Familia, has part of an Art Nouveau influence and the same way, the particular vision of Gaudi on Gothic structures. Gaudi could not complete this work however; He spent the last years of his life on it.
Güell Park: This beautiful park is located in the district of Gracia, on the hill known as El Caramel. It was built between 1900 and 1914. From the Park Güell, Barcelona’s view is simply spectacular, reaching even the sea.
