MUSIC NEWS - Steven Page of pop/rock band, Barenaked Ladies was able to make a deal yesterday with the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office, US to get the charges from his July 11, 2008 drug arrest (cocaine), reduced to misdemeanors. The deal covers Page, his girlfriend Christine Benedicto and her roommate Stephanie Ford, and has resulted in an agreement that will have Page acquitted, provided he stays out of trouble for the next six months . MUSIC NEWS -  Looking to put their legal and accident problems behind them, Barenaked Ladies have announced some fun concerts for the whole family in friendly Canadian territory with a handful of December shows (see list below). Barenaked Ladies' frontman Steven Page had his drug charges reduced from felony to misdemeanour charges in a New York court yesterday (October 28).The lead singer and guitarist, 38, was arrested last July and charged with cocaine possession when visiting his girlfriend Christine Benedicto at her apartment in Fayetteville, New York.In addition to reducing the charges, the Fayetteville Village Court issued adjournment in contemplation of dismissal, which means the charges will be dismissed if he stays out of trouble for six months, reports the Associated Press.
