Bariatrics is the branch of medicine that deals with the causes, prevention, and treatment of obesity. There are multiple approaches to Bariatric Surgery, including gastric bypass, stomach stapling, and lap bands.
I was on YouTube and did a search for sleeve gastrectomy. I found a video from a medical group that is a good explanation of the procedure. I'm not promoting the medical group and don't know anything about them, but the video is informative for someone who wants to know a little about it.
