So Barry Bonds lied to a grand jury . As if that has never happened before. But we are constantly reminded this is quite serious because our justice system is only about the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Apparently the general public does not realize that everyone in a courtroom is lying. The state's witnesses fudge, and the defendants tell preposterous tales. The lawyers know it , in fact they are often suborning perjury. The Judge knows it, but he pretends it is not happening. And I am quite certain the jury knows it, as they attempt to shovel through ... Read Full Story

It was all lies for Marion Jones . The three-time Olympic gold medalist has now plead guilty to lying to federal investigators admitting she had lied to us all. In case you give a crap -- which many of you may have lost all interest in the whole steroids/perjury fiasco that is Barry Bonds these days -- we have some new evidence that shows the former San Francisco Giants slugger's personal trainer, Greg Anderson, gave him steroids... the offseason before Bonds nailed a record 73 homers. The Home Run King, banished from baseball this season after not a single team showed interest (not even for charity's sake) is accused of lying to a 2003 grand jury investigating steroid use among athletes, specifically in baseball. Prosecutors claim to have two different documents, to be ... Read Full Story

And now for the obligatory Barry Bonds indictment post. I'm almost to the point of not even wanting to write about Barry anymore. I don't watch daytime dramas like the Young and the Restless, so his situation doesn't even spark the slightest bit of excitement in me... but here we go anyhow. With that deer-in-the-headlights look on his face, Bonds must have a feeling of impending doom. And he has to be sick of wearing suits by now. His 2003 grand jury testimony, which is now unsealed and available to the public, apparently reveals convincing evidence of steroid use. In the transcript, Bonds denies ... Read Full Story
