Barry Williams Back With Girlfriend He Dumped Over Death Threats, Stealing

Barry Williams Reconciles With Girlfriend He Dumped Over Death Threats, Stealing Just months after a beyond-rocky breakup involving death threats and restraining orders, Barry Williams of ‘The Brady Bunch’ and girlfriend Elizabeth Kennedy are back together.

“It wasn’t the end,” Kennedy tells RadarOnline.com. “Not even after slinging arrows, or miscommunications of epic proportions. We two are newly beginning.”

Said arrows flew fast in late 2009, when Williams, 55, who played Greg on the ’70s sitcom, had Kennedy, 29, removed from his home by a lawyer. He dumped her via legal papers, alleging she withdrew more than $29,000 from his bank account and wielded a knife, threatening to kill him and herself.

Now the two have patched things up.

“Things are looking a whole lot brighter. Just when you think you’ve closed a chapter for good, suddenly a transformation occurs and you realize that the love never left,” Kennedy says. “What ultimately matters at the end of the day is that the two people involved are now working through what went wrong and figuring out how to repair the damage.”

After the initial breakup, Kennedy said she had been with Williams, who is twice divorced, for four years. “I was basically his wife without the ring,” she told RadarOnline on camera in 2009. “I’m not crazy. I’ve never threatened anybody; I’ve never been violent. I’ve been completely devastated by the person that I loved.”

At the time, Kennedy professed having no idea why Williams broke it off. She acknowledged the money issues but played down their significance. “There were certain financial disputes that we had,” she said. “I didn’t think they were out of the ordinary from any dispute that any couple has. I just don’t really want to believe it could be about money, because that would make him a terribly shallow and superficial person.”

Kennedy tells Radar that she doesn’t “have to be angry anymore” and she is unconcerned with the world’s understanding — or lack thereof — as far as she and Williams are concerned. “The understanding between the two of us is more than enough and all I really ever wanted in the first place.”
