Signed last year to a record setting seven year, $126 million contract, former starting pitcher Barry Zito has been demoted. The pitcher, who has failed to perform, has been moved to the bullpen as a relief pitcher for the Giants. Left-handed pitcher Pat Misch will replace Zito in the rotation. Giants owner Peter Magowan expressed his disappointment in a press conference Monday. "I'm obviously very disappointed," Magowan said. "Barry is too.
