The Jets have given linebacker Bart Scott permission to seek a trade, according to the New York Daily News. Coming off an 8-8 season, Scott, 31, was not satisfied with his reduced playing time last season. Scott was often taken out on third downs because Jets coaches believed he was weak in coverage. It was reported earlier today that New York Jets linebacker Bart Scott has been given permission to seek a trade. According to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times, Scott wouldn’t mind having the opportunity to return to the Baltimore Ravens.
