According to Roderick Boone of Newsday,  New York Jets linebacker Bart Scott will likely be cut this offseason.

Scott took a pay cut at the beginning of this season and hasn’t been on the field as much during the year.

Let’s be honest,  Scott hasn’t done much since landing with the Jets,  when he came over from the Ravens with head coach Rex Ryan.

It’s certainly time for the Jets to move on from Scott and give a younger guy a shot at his spot.
