Olmypic Gold For US Basketball team,Leslie wins 4th Gold

The US women basketball teams defeated one of its oldest arc rivals Austrailia for the third consecutive time winning 92-65,The U.S. won its 33rd consecutive Olympic game - and 32nd with Leslie in the team.With this the US women's Basketball team has won its 4th consecutive gold.

Meanwhile Lisa Leslie capped off her illustrious Olympic career with a fourth straight gold medal scoring 14 points.

The Aussies meanwhile seems to be jinxed specially in the Olympics where the kangaroos have now lost to the Americans in the gold medal game in the past three Olympics with all three defeats coming by double-digit margins.

Russia took the bronze medal beating host China 94-81. While the host country had to be the 4th.

Lisa Leslie is one of the original WNBA players,currently playing for Los Angeles Spaer, she quickly rose to stardom as one of the league's top-performing and popular players. On July 30, 2002 she made history by becoming the first player to perform a dunk in that league.

Leslie has been a member of the U.S. womens basketball team at four Summer Olympic Games: Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008. The team won gold medals in 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008.
