Drake Diener stays in Teramo
Diener arrived in Teramo last summer from Air Avelino. He appeared 29 times in SerieA averaging 12.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists. He also played 8 games in EuroCup adding 13.1 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 2.1 apg and 1.9 spg. Teramo Basket finished the season in Italy as No.12. They registered 10 wins in 28 games.
Before Teramo, Drake Diener spent one season with Air Avelino. With them, he played 30 SerieA games averaging 10 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Diener had pretty close numbers in Euroleague. For 10 games he had 10.0ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.5apg, FGP: 53.1%, 3PT-3 (51.6%), FT: 100.0%. Season 2007/08 Diener split between Capo dOrlando and Montepaschi Siena. With the Italian powerhouse he had 9.9 ppg and 2.5 rpg for 15 games in Serie A. In Euroleague he had 2.3 ppg for 10 games. He joined them in January. Season 2007/08 was the first one for Diener in Italy and he was a member of Ignis Castelletto Ticino (LegaDue).
Drake Diener is a product of De Paul University, where he graduated in 2005. In his senior season he had 14.2 ppg, 2.9 rpg and 2.8 apg.
