John Calipari spent much of the summer promoting his new book, "Bounce Back." Friday night in Rupp Arena, he opened a more important chapter. In his first game as University of Kentucky men's basketball coach, Calipari's Wildcats beat Morehead State 75-59.  

"I have coached the last four years (at Memphis) and the one thing I didn't have to do is beg my team to compete," Calipari said. "We competed. We beat people. We ran harder than they ran and when I don't see that I lose my mind."He didn't see it enough during Kentucky's relatively drama-free opener.  

Freshman DeMarcus Cousins gave Kentucky Coach John Calipari plenty to smile about in the second half of Monday's 72-70 victory over Miami (Ohio).
