Witnessing the murder of his parents as a child leads him to train himself to the peak of physical and intellectual perfection, don a bat -themed costume, and fight crime. Unlike most superheroes, he does not possess superhuman powers or abilities; he makes use of intellect, detective skills, science and technology, wealth, physical prowess, and intimidation in his war on crime.

I didn't love the first Inception poster, which looked way too much like the first Dark Knight poster (featuring Heath Ledger's Joker with his back turned to us, walking toward Gotham). The new one, seen below, reminded me of the opening credits to Panic Room , but I checked it out, and they're not terribly similar, after all. Another trailer reveal at the Spike TV VGA broadcast was for Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Games’ follow-up to the hit game Batman: Arkham Asylum. Tentatively being called Arkham Asylum 2, the new game has no date at this time and we do not yet know what platforms it will be on, though I suspect PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms will all be supported.

What genius to realize that the way to make a Batman game "feel right" is to import the tropes from the Survival Horror Genre (like Resident Evil). I'm not quite sure when I realized I was actually playing a survival horror game but it sure works well with the Batman mythos, turning survival horror on it's head to boot.
