Growing up in San Clemente meant accessing the beach by climbing down rocks and hillsides, walking along the railroad tracks on the rocks trying to land on the wooden planks, hiking down old fallen down stairs and upset that you forgot your sandals on the way to the snack bar because of the sharp rocks you had to cross in order to get there.
