The 2012 Beale Street Music Festival may not have sold out any of its three days, but Memphis in May officials are still pleased with the event.
Despite attendance being 10 to 15 percent lower than 2011, Diane Hampton, executive vice president of Memphis in May, said the event “was not a disappointment in any way.”
