Beanie Wells’ surgery was more complicated than a meniscus

Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells was asked if his offseason surgery was to repair a torn meniscus.  He responded by saying it ”was a little more complicated than that.” Wells didn’t go into details of what kind of procedure was done. All we can do now is wonder what exactly was wrong with Wells’ knee last season.  My guess is that the Cardinals don’t expect him to participate in OTA’s or minicamp.  Thee goal right now would be for him to be ready to go for training camp. Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells is still rehabbing after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery back in January. “I’m rehabbing, just trying to get back,” Wells said. Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on his right knee on Tuesday according to Darren Urban of azcardinals.com. Wells played through a knee injury throughout the entire season and was still able to rush for 1,047 yards and 10 touchdowns.
