With Kevin Boss uncertain and the only healthy tight end being Travis Beckum, the Giants promoted TE Bear Pascoe from the practice squad, according to Zach Berman of the Star Ledger. To make room for him, the Giants waived linebacker Bryan Kehl.
Promoting Pascoe makes sense, since he’s a much better blocker than Beckum. Plus, he knows the offense and was very good in camp.
Waiving Kehl, on the other hand, was a surprise. Kehl hadn’t done much in his first couple years in the pros, but always showed potential. Why him over oft-injured Gerris Wilkinson?
