I was never taught that after giving birth, my flat belly would be over and I would not be blessed with the same flat belly a cousin of mine was probably inherited.  I have learned to cope at what began as a depressing realization which, by me, is now a celebration of the birth of my 3 beautiful children. 

There are ways to conceal an afterbirth belly (what I call or beauty pouch is what I call it!), applying lotions to make you tummy feel better and ways to feel good emotionally.

Products I recommend as feel good products for stretch marks are Nivea lotion, cocoa butter lotion, Eucerine and baby oil products. 

Clothing I suggest after giving birth include underwear briefs, they come in a pink ribbed color and feel really similar under wear, but more comfortable.  You can find it in the continence section.  If you are going to a social or wearing jeans, an underwear girdle is best for low-cut jeans so that they do not pinch your belly.  They are also good for hiding belly pouches while wearing tight dresses. 

There is now the sacred part of my body.  There are certain clothing which can be worn to cover the stomach while looking appealing.  I bought a 3-piece lingerie which I thought is a great motivating look for my figure.

I would suggest taking it easy after giving birth on the abdominal area.  Be delicate and sensitive to your body as you will see a change almost daily if not weekly.
