My Thoughts:
The biggest gripe that I have read about this foundation is that it claims to be "oil free", but it contains mineral oil. Since I am not qualified to tell you if mineral is good or bad for your skin, I am going to leave it to you to decide that. I could tell immediately that this foundation had some type of oil in it. The finish after I applied it was not semi matte, but instead more like a shinny finish. Another complaint about this foundation is the smell, as I found it to be very strong and over the top. I really don't understand why manufacturers add so much fragrance to products for the face.
I applied this foundation using my Sigma F82. I noticed during the application that this foundation has a lot of yellow in it. The color was a very good match for my skin tone. Because of the oils in the foundation, I used a tissue to dab some of the oil off my face before setting it with
Ben Nye Banana Visage Poudre. I chose not to use a brown setting powder because this foundation is very yellow. A brown setting powder could change the color to make me look orange if it had red undertones.
I really did not expect to like this foundation. I honestly expected around the same quaility as E.L.F. Studio Tinted Moisturizer, but I was pleasantly surprised. It lasted a good six hours, did not transfer anymore than most foundations, and did not oxidize on me. I would definately purchase this product again.
