they will survive over the weekend with out food so don’t worry,you can buy feeder blocks but they are normally used if going away for longer they last 7 days

This fish will be fine over the weekend with out food. Since these are class room pet if you want to avoid having to come in to feed them over the longer holidays (ie Chirstmas break) you may want to invest in an automatic feeder, which will feed a set amount of food at set intervals.

Most fish can survive without food for a whole week. Some fish even eat once every few weeks. As long as you fed your fish some food, they should be fine.
