Yu Yuan actually means Contentment according to one travel site I saw.
Yu Yuan Garden is a “five-acre garden consists of six sections separated by boundary walls: Grand Rockery, Ten Thousand-Flower Pavilion, Hall of Heralding Spring, Hall of Jade Magnificence, Inner Garden and Lotus Poo located in Shanghai.”
The place has a magnificent colorful architecture. The vibrance of red makes you feel “China” . But amidst its beauty, the place really attracts a LOT of tourist/people! It was... Read Full Story

This year the global economic situation is causing UK tourists to consider travelling further afield than the Eurozone on their doorstep. The reason is quite simple, once they have dealt with such necessities as travel insurance and accommodation, few, if any, of their neighbouring tourist destinations is likely to offer much value for money for the weakened Sterling in the wake of the credit crunch. For some who are eager to visit the historical and architectural sights associated with such... Read Full Story

I am madly preparing for Lab InfoTech Summit that will take place on March 5-7. Big hint . Don't miss the opportunity to spend a few days in Lost Wages and hear about the latest and greatest in pathology informatics. At any rate, as part of these preparations, I have just purchased a made-in-China green laser pointer for my faculty to use from the podium. I have never been satisfied with the red-dot lasers, perhaps because I am color blind and can't see red. I have always been slightly... Read Full Story
