“Slick” by Ben Harris
Since returning to magic in May of 1999 (after a seven year break) I’ve been having a lot of fun rummaging through my old material. Most of it I have forgotten, some of it I am pleased to forget, and some I’m real happy to have rediscovered. This Oil & Water routine originally appeared in my 1985 Singapore Lecture Notes. The print run, if I recall, was 150 copies, so this has not had much “play” out there in the real world. I’ll be further smoothing it out for possible inclusion in my new book, “Start Me Up”, which will be a half retrospective and half new material compilation due for release in June 2000.
