Ben Steele discusses his paintings (KILR8) Ben Steele, a POW during WWII and the only living Montana survivor of the Bataan Death March by the Japanese is using the extreme experiences he suffered as inspiration for art.His paintings, which feature depictions of wartime prisoners, have been featured in exhibits around the US.
