Puerto Rican actor Miguelangel Suarez, whose career included minor roles in last year's epic "Che" and Wood Allen's "Bananas," died on Wednesday. He was 69. Suarez died at Metropolitan Hospital in the San Juan suburb of Guaynabo, said filmmaker Jacobo Morales, a friend. The actor's wife had previously said Suarez had esophageal cancer. In one of the more interesting casting announcements in recent months, Variety reports that MGM is making a Three Stooges feature with Sean Penn set to play Larry while Jim Carrey and Benicio Del Toro are in negotiations for Curly and Moe, respectively. We’re sure the casting won’t be the stupidest thing about The Farrelly Brothers new Three Stooges movie, but Benicio Del Toro as Moe, Sean Penn as Larry and Jim Carrey as Curly, (okay, that last one actually makes total sense), is a good start.
